Three ways to play mas
- All-inclusive
- Your package bundles the costume with drinks, food, security, toilets and music trucks, so the day is handled for you. The easiest way in for many first-timers.
- Traditional and art mas
- The costume and the story come first. These bands design a full presentation and compete for Band of the Year in large, medium and small categories.
- J'ouvert
- Before dawn on Carnival Monday, bands take to the streets in paint, mud, oil or chocolate. A T-shirt and a sense of humour is the whole costume.
