Who they are
J'ouvert Jumbeez is a Trinidad and Tobago J'ouvert band, born in 2016 "to shake up the J'ouvert scene." The band says it grew from a small crew of Carnival lovers into "a powerhouse of paint, powder, music, and pure vibes."1 A jumbie, by the way, is Trini for a ghost or spirit, a fitting name for a band that comes out in the dark.
J'ouvert 2027: Outlaws
The 2027 theme is Outlaws, and the band's site teases that "2027 rides west." Registration for Outlaws packages is open on the band's website, which also has an FAQ covering packages, payments and pickups.2
